Private Pilot Ground School PDF Print E-mail

Canadian Flyers Private Pilot ground school conforms to Transport Canada licencing requirements. The course must be minimum of 40 hours in duration and cover the topics noted below. We always exceed the minimum times to ensure all participants are fully prepared to successfully complete the Transport PPL exam. When required, students receive additional personalized assistance on any topic in which they may be experiencing some difficulty and any student is welcome to reattend a class during subsequent courses for refamiliarization purposes. Toward the end of each course participants undergo practice exams where once again, the emphasis is to build confidence as well as identify any topics which need clarification. Although not a requirement, we do encourage students to engage in some flight training prior to starting the course. This is quite helpful in gaining a better understanding of the concepts being taught.
